The lodge is of a log cabin style, with each suite opening out to the verandah, and with only two guest suites, you are guaranteed both privacy and intimacy. Both rooms have ensuites and open out onto the beautiful decking allowing guests a wonderful glacial view of the snowy mountains. Westland is home to some of the finest wild Brown and Rainbow trout in the world and offers a natural beauty uniquely New Zealand. The challenge of hooking trout can be provided by legendary guides whose knowledge is backed with years of experience. Travel off-road in a four-wheel drive vehicle and experience outstanding locations and the thrill of stalking trout in the crystal-clear, snow fed rivers, spring creeks and lakes. Helicopter fly-in to remote areas is available from the lodge and a further reminder that this wilderness offers a unique fishing experience.

The lodge has been purpose built by fishermen for fishermen. With some of the most scenic fishing available in New Zealand, and many close rivers, lakes and spring creeks, guests are welcome to take advantage of Tony's years of experience and local knowledge, whilst Marj is always on hand to organise an itinerary of local activities for guests if required.
